Deadly Pathways

Deadly Pathways pays respect to the Jagera and Turrbal peoples, the traditional Custodians of Meanjin and its surrounding areas.

We recognise their ongoing connection to Country. We recognise that First Nations sovereignty over land, seas and waterways never was, nor will be, ceded.

Deadly Pathways

Our Vision: To Empower First Nations Youth through Financial Literacy and Career Counselling

The Why

Only one in ten First Nations Australians are financially Secure

Fewer than two in five Indigenous Australians can access $2000 in an emergency, as compared to four-fifths of the broader Australian population.

At Deadly Pathways, we aim to provide culturally safe Financial Literacy information and career counselling to communities, with a special focus on young people. We do this by connecting communities with experienced professionals, experts, and business owners more qualified than ourselves to come in and relate their stories back to communities.
